56 ألف زائر للمغطس يشكل الأجانب منهم نسبة 77%

وصل عدد زوار موقع عماد السيد المسيح "المغطس" منذ بداية العام الحالي وحتى مطلع آب 56,069 زائرا منهم 42,897 أجنبيا و7,598 أردنيا و5,574 عربيا، وفق بيانات لوزارة السياحة.

وتظهر البيانات بأن الأجانب يشكلون 77% من إجمالي الزوار.

ويعدّ موقع (المغطس)، الواقع على بعد حوالي 9 كم شمالي البحر الميت، أحد أكثر الأماكن قداسة على وجه الأرض لجميع الطوائف المسيحية، إذ تأتي جهود الحفاظ عليه وحمايته ضمن المسؤولية التاريخية تجاه الأماكن المقدسة التي تقع شرقي نهر الأردن.
