براك: على إسرائيل اتخاذ خطوة موازية بعد التزام لبنان بنزع سلاح حزب الله

اعتبر سفير الولايات المتحدة لدى تركيا والمبعوث الأميركي الخاص إلى سوريا توماس براك أن الحكومة اللبنانية أقدمت على "الخطوة الأولى" فيما يتعلّق بقرار نزع سلاح حزب الله، ويتعين على إسرائيل الآن القيام بخطوة موازية.

وقال براك خلال لقائه الرئيس اللبناني جوزاف عون إن هناك دوما مقاربة تستند على مبدأ خطوة بخطوة، مشيرا إلى أن الحكومة اللبنانية قامت بدورها.

وأضاف، "لقد خطت لبنان الخطوة الأولى"، وما نحتاجه الآن هو أن تلتزم اسرائيل بخطوة موازية".

وتعتبر زيارة براك إلى بيروت الأول من نوعها بعد التزام السلطات تجريد حزب الله من سلاحه قبل نهاية العام.
