اتّهمت منظمة العفو الدولية في تقرير لها، الاثنين، إسرائيل باتّباع سياسة تجويع "متعمّدة" في غزة، وذلك بناء على شهادات نازحين فلسطينيين وأفراد الطواقم الطبية الذين يعالجون أطفالا يعانون سوء التغذية في القطاع.

وأفاد التقرير بأن "إسرائيل تنفّذ حملة تجويع متعمّدة في قطاع غزة المحتل؛ إذ تدمّر بشكل ممنهج الصحة والسلامة والنسيج الاجتماعي لحياة الفلسطينيين".
