حقق بايرن ميونيخ لقب النسخة الأولى من كأس «فرانز بيكنباور» بعد تغيير اسم السوبر الألماني تكريماً لأسطورته الراحل، بفوزه على شتوتجارت 2-1.

وافتتح هاري كاين التسجيل في الدقيقة الأولى بعد خطأ دفاعي عند الدقيقة 18، مسجلاً هدفه السادس ضد شتوتجارت، قبل أن يضيف الوافد الجديد لويس دياز الهدف الثاني برأسية في ظهوره الأول مع الفريق عند الدقيقة 77.

شتوتجارت حاول العودة ونجح في تقليص الفارق عبر جيمي لويلينج في الدقيقة 93 لكن خبرة مانويل نوير وتألقه منعت التعادل.

وبذلك يرفع بايرن رصيده إلى 11 لقب سوبر، والمدرب فينسنت كومباني يحتفل بلقبه الثاني منذ وصوله إلى بايرن.
