150 مفقودا على الأقل جراء الفيضانات في شمال غرب باكستان

أعلنت هيئة إدارة الكوارث الإقليمية في شمال غرب باكستان الأحد فقدان 150 شخصا جراء فيضانات مفاجئة أودت بما لا يقل عن 344 شخصا في باكستان.

وقال رئيس هيئة إدارة الكوارث الإقليمية في خيبر بختونخوا أسفنديار ختّاك لوكالة فرانس برس "في بونر، لا يزال نحو 150 شخصا في عداد المفقودين. قد يكونون محاصرين تحت أنقاض منازلهم أو جرفتهم مياه الفيضانات"، مضيفا أن عشرات آخرين مفقودون أيضا في منطقة شانغلا.

وتحدى الآلاف من عناصر الإنقاذ الباكستانيين الأحد الأمطار والأوحال التي وصلت إلى مستوى الركبة، للوصول إلى منازل طمرت تحت صخور ضخمة بحثا عن ناجين.

وسُجلت معظم حصيلة القتلى في إقليم خيبر بختونخوا حيث يتوقع أن تشتد في الايام المقبلة قوة الأمطار الموسمية التي تسببت بفيضانات وانزلاقات تربة انهارت معها منازل.
