أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، مساء أمس الجمعة، محاولة تهريب مواد مخدرة بواسطة طائرة مسيّرة (درون) على واجهتها الغربية وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، وذلك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات.

وجرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك وإسقاط الطائرة المسيّرة داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة.
