قرر مجلس التعليم العالي في جلسته التي عقدها اليوم الخميس برئاسة وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الدكتور عزمي محافظة الموافقة على السماح للطلبة الأردنيين الحاصلين على شهادات ثانوية عامة أجنبية (بريطانية، أمريكية، بكالوريا دولية وغيرها) في سنوات سابقة التقدم بطلبات للقبول الموحد،

كما يستطيعوا المنافسة على نسبة ستخصص لهم ضمن المقاعد الإجمالية المخصصة للطلبة حملة شهادات الثانوية العامة الأجنبية في البرنامج العادي، وذلك تحقيقاً لمبدأ العدالة وتكافؤ الفرص بين الطلبة.
