قال المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، تيدروس أدهانوم غيبرييسوس، إن أكثر من 14,800 مريض في قطاع غزة لا يزالون بحاجة ماسة إلى رعاية طبية عاجلة منقذة للحياة غير متوفرة حالياً في القطاع.

ودعت المنظمة الأممية في بيان نشر على صفحته بموقع "إكس" مساء الأربعاء، إلى إعادة تفعيل مسارات التحويل الطبي من غزة إلى الضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، قبل فوات الأوان.

وأشار غيبرييسوس إلى أن المنظمة دعت يوم أمس لإجلاء 32 طفلاً و6 مرضى بالغين من غزة، إلى جانب 99 من مرافقيهم، حيث تم نقل 25 طفلاً و6 بالغين إلى إيطاليا، و5 أطفال إلى بلجيكا، وطفلين إلى تركيا.

كما أعرب عن شكره للمفوضية الأوروبية وجميع الحكومات التي أبدت تضامنها مع مرضى غزة في الحالات الحرجة من خلال توفير رعاية طبية متخصصة لهم.
