40 وفاة على الأقل بالكوليرا خلال أسبوع في دارفور

أعلنت منظمة أطباء بلا حدود الخميس أن 40 شخصا على الأقل لقوا مصرعهم في منطقة دارفور في السودان، في ظل أسوأ تفشٍّ للمرض في البلاد التي تشهد حربا مستمرة منذ أكثر من عامين.

وقالت المنظمة في بيان "بالإضافة إلى حرب شاملة، يعاني سكان السودان الآن أسوأ تفشٍّ للكوليرا تشهده البلاد منذ سنوات". وأضافت "في منطقة دارفور وحدها، عالجت فرق أطباء بلا حدود أكثر من 2300 مريض، وسجّلت 40 وفاة خلال الأسبوع الماضي".
