ودع المنتخب الوطني الأردني لكرة السلة منافسات كأس آسيا 2025، بعد خسارته أمام منتخب تايبيه الصينية بنتيجة 64- 78، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما اليوم الاثنين، على الصالة المغطاة بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة، ضمن التصفيات المؤهلة إلى الدور ربع النهائي.

ودخل المنتخب اللقاء بتشكيلة ضمت فريدي إبراهيم ويزن الطويل وعبدالله أولاجوان وهاشم عباس ويوسف أبو وزنة، بقيادة المدير الفني الكندي روي رانا.

وأنهى النصف الأول متأخرا بفارق أربع نقاط (35-39)، بعد خسارة الربع الأول 17-21، قبل أن تتسع الفجوة في الفترة الثالثة التي انتهت 14-21، ليحسم المنافس النتيجة بفارق 14 نقطة بعد فترة رابعة انتهت 15-18.
