أكد محافظ معان خالد الحجاج، اليوم الأحد، ضرورة التزام المواطنين والعاملين في الميدان بالتعليمات والإرشادات الصادرة عن الجهات الرسمية والدفاع المدني، في ظل ارتفاع درجات الحرارة المعلن عنه من قبل دائرة الأرصاد الجوية، حفاظا على سلامة الأفراد والممتلكات.

وشدد الحجاج على أهمية تجنب التعرض المباشر لأشعة الشمس، خاصة خلال ساعات الذروة، واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة من قبل الجهات المعنية لحماية عمال الوطن والفرق العاملة ميدانيا من مخاطر ضربات الشمس.

وأشار إلى ضرورة الاستعداد للتعامل مع الظروف الجوية السائدة، والتي قد تتضمن حالات من عدم الاستقرار الجوي المثيرة للغبار، إضافة إلى احتمالية تساقط الأمطار في بعض المناطق، متمنيا السلامة للجميع.
