قالت المفوضة الأوروبية للمساواة والاستعداد وإدارة الأزمات، حاجة لحبيب، إن قرار المجلس الوزاري الأمني الإسرائيلي توسيع أعماله العسكرية في غزة سيؤدي إلى تفاقم الوضع الإنساني الكارثي القائم بالفعل، ويعرض حياة المحتجزين المتبقين للخطر.

وأكدت، في منشور عبر منصة (إكس) أن "وقف إطلاق النار الفوري أمر أساسي، إلى جانب الإفراج غير المشروط عن جميع المحتجزين، وتوصيل المساعدات الإنسانية على نطاق واسع، وبما يتوافق بالكامل مع القانون الإنساني الدولي".

وشددت لحبيب أنه لا بديل عن حل الدولتين.
