مستوطنون يقتحمون مقبرة باب الرحمة قرب المسجد الأقصى

اقتحم عشرات المستوطنين، صباح السبت، مقبرة باب الرحمة الإسلامية الملاصقة للمسجد الأقصى المبارك.

وأفادت مصادر فلسطينية، بأن مستوطنين اقتحموا مقبرة باب الرحمة، وأدوا طقوسا تلمودية عند بوابة الرحمة في منتصف المقبرة، كذلك أدوا رقصات استفزازية فوق القبور.

يشار إلى أن المقبرة تتعرض لأعمال حفريات من قبل الاحتلال من أجل إنشاء قاعدة للتلفريك التهويدي المحيط بالبلدة القديمة فيها، بهدف الاستيلاء عليها لاحقا.

وتبلغ مساحة مقبرة باب الرحمة قرابة 23 دونما، وتحوي العديد من قبور الصحابة أبرزهم: عبادة بن الصامت، وشداد بن أوس، وعلى قبور لمجاهدين اشتركوا في فتح القدس أثناء الفتحين العمري والأيوبي، وتنوي حكومة الاحتلال أيضا تحويل جزء منها لحديقة توراتية ضمن مشروعها لتهويد المدينة.
