إيرلندا تعتزم فرض حظر تجاري على المستوطنات الإسرائيلية

تعتزم إيرلندا المضي قدما في تمرير تشريع لحظر استيراد البضائع من المستوطنات الإسرائيلية غير القانونية.

يأتي ذلك بعدما طلب أكثر من 12 من أعضاء الكونغرس الأميركي إضافة إيرلندا إلى قائمة من الدول التي تقاطع إسرائيل إذا تم تمرير مشروع القانون.

وقال نائب رئيس الوزراء الإيرلندي سيمون هاريس إنه على الرغم من المعارضة، فإن إيرلندا "تعتزم" مواصلة تمرير مشروعات القوانين.

ويأتي هذا وسط انتقادات عالمية لإسرائيل بعد موافقة مجلس الوزراء الأمني على خطة للسيطرة على مدينة غزة.

وأكد تحالف "فاين جيل" و"فيانا فايل" ومجموعة من المستقلين في إيرلندا، التزامه بتمرير حظر على البضائع من الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة في برنامجه للحكومة الذي تم الانتهاء منه في يناير.
