قال مسؤولون إنه تم تأجيل الاجتماع الطارئ لمجلس الأمن الدولي إلى الأحد، لبحث خطة إسرائيل للسيطرة على مدينة غزة.

وكانت ثلاثة مصادر دبلوماسية قد أفادت في وقت سابق بأن مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة سيعقد اجتماعًا السبت لمناقشة خطة إسرائيل للسيطرة على مدينة غزة.

ويُعقد الاجتماع المرتقب بناءً على طلب عدة أعضاء في مجلس الأمن، بحسب ما أفاد به أحد الأعضاء، في ظل قلق دولي متزايد إزاء الخطة الإسرائيلية.
