دانت فرنسا الجمعة خطة الحكومة الإسرائيلية بشأن غزة "بأشد العبارات"، محذّرة من أنها قد تؤدي إلى "طريق مسدود تماما"، بحسب بيان لوزارة الخارجية.

وأكدت باريس "معارضتها الشديدة لأي خطة لاحتلال قطاع غزة وتهجير سكانه بالقوة"، فيما يستعد الجيش الإسرائيلي للسيطرة على مدينة غزة، أكبر مدينة في القطاع الفلسطيني، بهدف معلن هو "هزيمة" حماس وتحرير الرهائن.

وقال وزير الخارجية الفرنسي جان نويل بارو في منشور على منصة إكس إن الاحتلال "الكامل" لغزة "سيفاقم الوضع الكارثي أصلا من دون أن يتيح تحرير الرهائن لدى حماس ونزع سلاحها واستسلامها".
