أعلنت وزارة الطوارئ الروسية، اليوم الجمعة، عن أن زلزال بقوة 5.2 درجة على مقياس ريختر، ضرب سواحل جزر الكوريل أقصى شرق البلاد، وذلك بعد مرور 3 ساعات فقط على زلزال آخر بقوة 4.8 درجة.

وقالت الطوارئ الروسية في بيان صحفي: "شهدت الجزيرة الواقعة في أقصى شرق البلاد، زلزالا بقوة 5.2 درجة، سبقه زالزال آخر بقوة 4.8 درجة على مقياس ريختر، فيما يجري العمل على تقييم الأضرار، وسيتم إرسال تحذيرات للسكان في حال رصد مؤشرات واضحة على أي موجات تسونامي ناتجة عن الزلازل".
