مسؤولة بريطانية: نأمل أن تعيد إسرائيل النظر في قرارها بشأن غزة

عبّرت المسؤولة بوزارة الطاقة البريطانية مياتا فانبوله الجمعة عن أمل بلادها في أن تعيد إسرائيل النظر في قرار السيطرة على مدينة غزة.

وقالت فانبوله لإذاعة تايمز "نعتقد أن هذا القرار خاطئ، ونأمل أن تعيد الحكومة الإسرائيلية النظر فيه".

وأضافت "إنه ينذر بتصعيد وضع فظيع ولا يطاق بالفعل".

وكان مجلس الوزراء الأمني الإسرائيلي وافق ليل الخميس – الجمعة، على خطة طرحها رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو هدفها "السيطرة" على مدينة غزة في شمال القطاع المحاصر الذي يعاني أزمة إنسانية حادة ودمارا هائلا بعد 22 شهرا من الحرب.

وأفاد مكتب رئيس الوزراء بأن جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي "يستعدّ للسيطرة على مدينة غزة مع توزيع مساعدات إنسانية على السكّان المدنيين خارج مناطق القتال".
