استقبل وزير الطاقة السوري، محمد البشير، في مكتبه بدمشق، أعضاء اللجنة الفنية الأردنية السورية المشتركة للمياه، معربًا عن سعادته بالجهود الأردنية السورية المشتركة.

وعقدت اللجنة الفنية الأردنية السورية المشتركة للمياه اجتماعها الثاني في العاصمة السورية دمشق، يوم الاثنين، برئاسة هشام الحيصة، أمين عام سلطة وادي الأردن، ومعاون وزير الطاقة السوري، أسامة أبو زيد، حيث استعرض الجانبان أهمية تطوير حوض مياه اليرموك.

واتفق الجانبان على البدء بتنفيذ مشروع الاستمطار في الحوض، وتفعيل آليات العمل الفني بين الجانبين، التي تدعم الاستخدام المستدام والعادل لموارد حوض اليرموك.
