استهل فريق نادي اتحاد ابناء العقبة مشواره في دوري الدرجة الثالثة لكرة القدم بالفوز على فريق نادي الخليج 3-0 في المباراة التي جمعتهما على ملعب شركة التطوير.

وسجل أهداف اللقاء صدام أبو الحج وصهيب أبو العز وطارق أبو معيتق.
