تواصل بطولة المملكة المفتوحة الفردية للشطرنج

تواصلت أمس السبت منافسات بطولة المملكة المفتوحة الفردية للفئات العمرية بالشطرنج والتي يُنظمها الاتحاد الملكي للشطرنج في مقره بمدينة الحسين للشباب.

وتضم البطولة أربع فئات عمرية وهي، تحت ٦ و٨ و١٠ و١٢ سنة للذكور والإناث ويتنافسون بالشطرنج الكلاسيكي وضمن ٩ جولات.

وتحظى البطولة بمشاركة ٨٥ لاعباً ولاعبة وتستمر حتى التاسع من آب الحالي.

وتأتي هذه البطولة في إطار الخطة السنوية للاتحاد، التي تهدف إلى توفير بيئة تنافسية وتوسيع قاعدة الممارسين للعبة، إلى جانب اكتشاف المواهب الواعدة التي يُعول عليها لتمثيل المنتخبات الوطنية في البطولات الإقليمية والقارية المقبلة.

ومن المقرر أن يُنظم الاتحاد يوم الخميس 14 آب المقبل بطولة المملكة المفتوحة للفئات العمرية من 12 إلى 20 سنة، ضمن سلسلة البطولات الرسمية المعتمدة لهذا العام.
