التقى وزير الداخلية، مازن الفراية، بمكتبه اليوم الخميس، السفير الياباني في المملكة، أساري هيديكي، حيث تم بحث القضايا الإقليمية في المنطقة، وطبيعة العلاقات الثنائية التي تربط وزارة الداخلية الأردنية مع نظيرتها اليابانية.

وفي هذا السياق، تمت مناقشة الدعم الياباني لجهود المملكة في استضافة اللاجئين وأمن الحدود، والإشادة بالدور الياباني في دعم وتعزيز جهود المملكة في هذه المجالات.

كما تم التأكيد على العلاقات المتينة التي تربط المملكة مع اليابان، وسبل تعزيزها وتعميق مجالات التعاون في القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
