استقبل مجلس محافظة العقبة أعضاء مبادرة «اترك أثر» الشبابية، التي تهدف إلى تعزيز قيم العطاء والعمل التطوعي وترك بصمات إيجابية مستدامة في المجتمع وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون المجتمعي وتفعيل المبادرات الشبابية الواعدة،

وتم خلال اللقاء تبادل وجهات النظر حول أهمية المبادرات المجتمعية في دعم مسارات التنمية المحلية، إلى جانب مناقشة سبل التعاون البناء بين المجلس والمبادرة في تنفيذ عدد من البرامج التي تخدم قطاعات التعليم والبيئة وتمكين الشباب.

وأكد أعضاء المجلس على دور الشباب الفاعل في نهضة المجتمع، وضرورة احتضان الطاقات الإيجابية ودعمها من خلال شراكات عملية ومؤثرة، فيما عبر أعضاء المبادرة عن تقديرهم لاهتمام المجلس بالمبادرات المجتمعية.
