استشهد، اليوم الأربعاء، ما لا يقل عن 40 مدنيًا وأصيب أكثر من 200 آخرين، في مجزرة مروعة ارتكبها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق فلسطينيين كانوا ينتظرون المساعدات الإنسانية على شارع الرشيد قرب معبر زيكيم شمال قطاع غزة، وفقًا لمصادر فلسطينية.

وقالت خدمات الإسعاف والطوارئ في غزة إن مستشفيات المدينة استقبلت أعدادًا كبيرة من الجرحى، معظمهم من طالبي المساعدات في شمال القطاع، مشيرة إلى أن الإصابات تركزت في الأجزاء العلوية من أجسادهم.
