أكد الخبير في قطاع الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات وصفي الصفدي على أهمية الذكاء الاصطناعي في تعزيز عمل قطاع الزراعة، عبر مساهمته في عملية تطوير الإنتاج الزراعي واستدامته، خاصة في ظل تحديات الأمن الغذائي والتغير المناخي.

وأضاف الصفدي في تصريحه لـ الراي: أن قطاع الزراعة بات في العديد من الدول يشهد تحوّلاً جذرياً بفضل تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وإمكانية دمج هذه التقنيات مع إنترنت الأشياء.

في عملية تطوير الإنتاج الزراعي، وتحقيق استدامته، خاصة في ظل تحديات الأمن الغذائي والتغير المناخي.

ولفت إلى أن الذكاء الاصطناعي ليس مجرد أجهزة يتم اقتناؤها، بل أصبح جزءًا لا يتجزأ من أنظمة المعلومات الزراعية لدى العديد من الدول حول العالم، وفي عمل آلات زراعية متعددة، وكذلك في الحفاظ على التنوع البيئي، ومراقبة الثروات الحيوانية والزراعية.
