انطلقت في صالة الشهيد راشد الزيود بمدينة الحسين للشباب، فعاليات بطولة المملكة المفتوحة للملاكمة للرجال والناشئين والناشئات بمشاركة 438 لاعبا ولاعبة يمثلون مختلف المراكز والأندية من مختلف المحافظات.

وتستمر منافسات البطولة التي ينظمها اتحاد الملاكمة حتى 5 الشهر المقبل.

وتأتي هذه البطولة في إطار حرص الاتحاد الأردني للملاكمة على تطوير قاعدة اللعبة واكتشاف المواهب الجديدة إلى جانب اختيار العناصر المميزة لتمثيل المنتخبات الوطنية في الاستحقاقات المقبلة.

وأكد الاتحاد الأردني للملاكمة أن هذه البطولة تُعد محطة رئيسة على خريطة النشاطات السنوية، لما تمثله من فرصة ثمينة أمام اللاعبين واللاعبات لإثبات جدارتهم وحجز مواقع لهم في صفوف المنتخبات الوطنية.
