حسمت لاعبتا المنتخب الوطني للشطرنج، ربى القضاة وجود أحمد، الميدالية الذهبية، ضمن منافسات البطولة العربية للشطرنج للفئات العمرية والمقامة في مدينة الدار البيضاء المغربية وقبل خوض الجولة الأخيرة من المنافسات.

وجاء هذا الإنجاز اللافت بعد سلسلة من الانتصارات المتتالية لربى القضاة وجود أحمد.

وتصدرت ربى القضاة جدول ترتيب فئة تحت 18 سنة/إناث برصيد 7 نقاط، بينما حافظت جود أحمد على صدارة فئة تحت 16 سنة/إناث بنفس الرصيد دون تسجيل أي خسارة، مؤكدتان تفوقهما الفني وجاهزيتهما العالية ولتحسمان الميدالية الذهبية.

هذا ويواصل المنتخب الوطني مشاركته في البطولة العربية التي تشهد تنافساً قوياً بين 13 دولة عربية، وسط آمال كبيرة بمزيد من الإنجازات والميداليات.
