اختتم المنتخب الوطني لكرة السلة مشاركته في بطولة كأس بيروت الدولية، بخسارة أمام المنتخب الإيراني بنتيجة 61-70، في المباراة التي جمعتهما مساء اليوم الجمعة على صالة نهاد نوفل.

وتقدم المنتخب الإيراني في معظم فترات اللقاء، وسط محاولات من "صقور النشامى" لتقليص الفارق، لكن دون جدوى، لتنتهي المباراة بفارق 9 نقاط.

وسبق للمنتخب الوطني، أن خسر مباراتيه السابقتين أمام منتخبي لبنان ومصر، ليخرج من البطولة دون تحقيق أي فوز، في ختام محطته الإعدادية الأخيرة قبل المشاركة في نهائيات كأس آسيا 2025، التي تستضيفها مدينة جدة السعودية خلال الفترة من 5 إلى 17 آب المقبل.
