واشنطن تعلن القضاء على قيادي في تنظيم داعش بسوريا

أعلن الجيش الأميركي الجمعة أنه قتل عضوا بارزا في تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية خلال عملية في محافظة حلب في شمال سوريا.

وقالت القيادة الوسطى الأميركية في الشرق الأوسط(سنتكوم) في بيان نشرت نسخة منه بالعربية، إن الغارة أسفرت عن "مقتل القيادي البارز في داعش الكبير ضياء زوبع مصلح الحرداني وابنيه عبد الله ضياء الحرداني وعبد الرحمن ضياء زوبع الحرداني".

وأضافت "شكل هؤلاء العناصر من داعش تهديدا للقوات الأميركية وقوات التحالف، وكذلك للحكومة السورية الجديدة"، مؤكدة أن ثلاث نساء وثلاثة أطفال كانوا "ضمن الموقع الذي تم استهدافه" في مدينة الباب الواقعة على نحو 40 كيلومترا شمال شرق حلب و"لم يصب أحد منهم بأذى".
