قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الجمعة إن حماس "لا تريد اتفاقا" بعد تعثر محادثات وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، وتريد "أن تموت".

وصرح ترامب أمام صحافيين قبيل مغادرته إلى اسكتلندا "حماس لم تكن ترغب حقا في إبرام اتفاق. أعتقد أنهم يريدون أن يموتوا. وهذا أمر خطير للغاية".

وأضاف "لقد وصلنا الآن إلى آخر الرهائن، وهم يعلمون ما سيحدث بعد استعادة آخر الرهائن. ولهذا السبب تحديدا، لم يرغبوا في عقد أي اتفاق".
