قال متحدث باسم الحكومة الألمانية الجمعة إن برلين لا تعتزم الاعتراف بدولة فلسطينية على المدى القريب، وأن أولويتها الآن تتجه لإحراز "تقدم طال انتظاره" نحو حل الدولتين.

وأضاف المتحدث "أمن إسرائيل ذو أهمية بالغة للحكومة الألمانية".

وقال "لذلك، لا تعتزم الحكومة الألمانية الاعتراف بدولة فلسطينية على المدى القريب".

وأكد المتحدث أن الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية لن يكون إلا إحدى الخطوات الأخيرة في حل الدولتين.
