قال وزير الخارجية البريطاني ديفيد لامي الجمعة إن الوضع المتدهور في غزة "لا يمكن الدفاع عنه"، وكرر الدعوات لوقف إطلاق النار.

وقال لامي في مؤتمر صحفي مشترك مع وزير الدفاع الأسترالي في سيدني "مشهد الأطفال وهم يطلبون المساعدة ويفقدون أرواحهم أثار الذعر في أنحاء كثيرة من العالم. ولهذا السبب أكرر دعوتي اليوم لوقف إطلاق النار".

وأضاف "الوضع المتدهور الذي شهدناه في غزة خلال الأسابيع القليلة الماضية أمر لا يمكن الدفاع عنه".
