نددت كندا الجمعة بتقاعس الحكومة الإسرائيلية عن منع ما وصفه رئيس الوزراء مارك كارني بكارثة إنسانية في غزة.

واتهم كارني إسرائيل بانتهاك القانون الدولي بمنعها وصول المساعدات الممولة من كندا إلى المدنيين في القطاع الفلسطيني الذي مزقته الحرب.

وكتب كارني على إكس "تدعو كندا جميع الأطراف إلى التفاوض على وقف فوري لإطلاق النار بحسن نية. ونكرر دعواتنا لحماس بالإفراج الفوري عن جميع (المحتجزين)، وللحكومة الإسرائيلية باحترام سلامة أراضي الضفة الغربية وغزة".
