رحّبت السعودية الخميس بإعلان فرنسا أنها ستعترف بدولة فلسطين، معتبرة أنّ هذا "القرار التاريخي" يؤكد "حق الشعب الفلسطيني في إقامة دولته المستقلة".

وأعلنت وزارة الخارجية السعودية على منصة إكس "ترحيب المملكة العربية السعودية بإعلان رئيس الجمهورية الفرنسية إيمانويل ماكرون عزم بلاده على الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين الشقيقة"، مشيدة بـ"هذا القرار التاريخي الذي يؤكد توافق المجتمع الدولي على حق الشعب الفلسطيني في تقرير مصيره، وإقامة دولته المستقلة على حدود عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية".
