عبر نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي، فجر الخميس، عن شكره لنظيره الأميركي ماركو روبيو على النقاش المُعمّق الذي جري بينهما في واشنطن.

وناقش الصفدي وروبيو تعزيز الشراكة التاريخية بين الأردن والولايات المتحدة الأميركية، والجهود المشتركة لتحقيق وقف إطلاق نار دائم في غزة وإنهاء التصعيد في الضفة الغربية.

كما ناقش الوزيران الحفاظ على وقف إطلاق النار في السويداء جنوب سوريا، والذي لعبت الولايات المتحدة دورًا محوريًا في تحقيقه.

كما أكد الصفدي خلال اللقاء على تقدير الأردن لدعم الولايات المتحدة، مؤكدا إلتزام البلدين بالعمل معًا لضمان السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة.
