أشاد السفير الأميركي لدى تركيا والمبعوث الخاص إلى سوريا، توماس باراك، بالشراكة مع الأردن ودوره القيادي في المنطقة، مؤكداً أهمية التعاون مع وزير الخارجية أيمن الصفدي في دعم جهود وقف إطلاق النار في محافظة السويداء جنوب سوريا.

وقال باراك في تغريدة له على منصة "إكس": "ممتنون للشراكة مع وزير خارجية الأردن أيمن الصفدي اليوم لتنفيذ وقف إطلاق النار في السويداء. تلعب المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية دورًا قياديًا مهما في المنطقة، ونحن نحرز خطوات إيجابية لدعم سوريا موحدة ومستقرة تنعم بالسلام مع جيرانها، بمن فيهم حلفاؤنا الأردنيون".
