قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الجمعة، إنه سيتم إطلاق سراح 10 محتجزين آخرين من غزة قريبا، دون تقديم تفاصيل إضافية.

وأدلى ترامب بهذا التعليق خلال عشاء مع أعضاء في مجلس النواب في البيت الأبيض، مشيدا بجهود مبعوثه الخاص ستيف ويتكوف.

ويشارك مفاوضون من إسرائيل وحركة (حماس) في أحدث جولة من محادثات وقف إطلاق النار في الدوحة منذ السادس من تموز، ويناقشون مقترحا تدعمه الولايات المتحدة لوقف إطلاق النار لمدة 60 يوما.

وقال ترامب "استعدنا معظم المحتجزين. سنستعيد عشرة آخرين قريبا جدا، ونأمل أن ننتهي من ذلك بسرعة".
