تعهدت الرئاسة السورية في بيان مساء الجمعة إرسال قوات بهدف فضّ الاشتباكات المتواصلة في السويداء في جنوب البلاد بين فصائل من الدروز ومسلحين من العشائر، داعية في الوقت نفسه إلى "ضبط النفس".

ودعت الرئاسة في بيانها "جميع الأطراف إلى ضبط النفس وتغليب صوت العقل"، مضيفة "تعمل الجهات المختصة على إرسال قوة متخصصة لفض الاشتباكات وحل النزاع ميدانيا، بالتوازي مع اجراءات سياسية وأمنية تهدف إلى تثبيت الاستقرار وضمان عودة الهدوء" إلى السويداء.
