مفوض أممي يدعو لوقف "إراقة الدماء" في السويداء

أكد مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان، فولكر ترك اليوم الجمعة على ضرورة "وقف إراقة الدماء والعنف" في محافظة السويداء السورية.

ودعا ترك في بيان صحفي إلى بناء سوريا جديدة تعمل من أجل جميع أبنائها، متساوين في الكرامة ودون تمييز، مضيفًا أن حماية جميع السوريين ينبغي أن تحظى بالأولوية القصوى.

وشدد ترك على ضرورة، أن تضمن السلطات الانتقالية المساءلة والعدالة عن عمليات القتل وغيرها من الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق الإنسان في المدينة الجنوبية.

ودعا ترك إلى عملية تدقيق شاملة وعاجلة ومستقلة لضمان عدم دمج المسؤولين عن انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان والتجاوزات في الهياكل الأمنية أو العسكرية الرسمية في سوريا، مشددًا، على أنها "ضرورة حيوية في إعادة بناء ثقة الجمهور ودفع عملية الانتقال الأوسع في سوريا".
