استقبل المستشفى الحكومي في مدينة السويداء في جنوب سوريا أكثر من 400 جثة منذ صباح الاثنين، بينها جثامين لنساء وأطفال، بحسب ما أفاد الطبيب العامل في المستشفى ونقيب الأطباء في السويداء عمر عبيد وكالة فرانس برس.

وقال الطبيب "البرادات لم تعد تتسع، الجثث انتفخت (...) بالتأكيد هناك أكثر من 400 شهيد ما بين نساء وأطفال ومسنين ومقاتلين"، وذلك إثر أعمال العنف التي اندلعت الاحد بين مقاتلين دروز ومسلحين من البدو تدخّلت إثرها القوات الحكومية التي اتهمت بالقتال إلى جانب المسلحين من البدو.
