بدأ الجيش السوري الأربعاء الانسحاب من السويداء ذات الغالبية الدرزية، وفق ما أعلنت وزارة الدفاع، بعد ساعات على إعلان اتفاق جديد لوقف إطلاق النارفي المدينة التي تشهد أعمال عنف.

وجاء في بيان لوزارة الدفاع السورية "بدء انسحاب قوات الجيش العربي السوري من مدينة السويداء تطبيقا لبنود الاتفاق المبرم، وبعد الانتهاء من تمشيط المدينة من المجموعات الخارجة عن القانون"، من دون أي ذكر لانسحاب قوات حكومية أخرى منتشرة في المدينة.
