الت وزارة الدفاع السورية، الأربعاء، إن مجموعات خارجة عن القانون هاجمت قوات الجيش والأمن الداخلي السوري داخل مدينة السويداء، بالرغم من إبرام اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار مع وجهاء وأعيان المدينة، وفقا لـ وكالة الأنباء السورية "سانا".

وأكدت الوزارة خلال تعميماتٍ سابقة أحقية قوات الجيش في الرد على مصادر النيران.

وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن قوات الجيش تتابع الرد على مصادر النيران داخل مدينة السويداء، مع مراعاة قواعد الاشتباك لحماية الأهالي ومنع تضررهم، وتحقيق عودة آمنة لمن غادروا المدينة إلى منازلهم.

وأوصت وزارة الدفاع الأهالي داخل المدينة بالتزام منازلهم والتبليغ عمّن تبقى من المجموعات الخارجة عن القانون.
