توعد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب روسيا الاثنين بأنه سيفرض رسوما جمركية "قاسية جدا" على حلفاء موسكو التجاريين في حال لم تجد روسيا حلا للنزاع الدائر في أوكرانيا في غضون خمسين يوما.

وقال ترامب لصحافيين في البيت الأبيض "خاب ظني جدا بالرئيس (الروسي فلاديمير بوتين) كنت أظن أننا سنتوصل إلى اتفاق قبل شهرين" مضيفا "إذا لم نتوصل إلى اتفاق في غضون 50 يوما، الأمر بغاية البساطة، (سنفرض رسوما جمركية) وستكون بنسبة 100 %".
