أجرى وزير الداخلية، مازن الفراية، اتصالا هاتفيا مع نظيره وزير الداخلية السوري أنس خطاب، اطمأن خلاله على عمليات إخماد الحرائق التي اندلعت في مناطق محافظة اللاذقية ونتائجها والآثار المترتبة على هذه الحرائق وطبيعة الأضرار الناجمة عنها.

من جهته، أثنى وزير الداخلية السوري، على الدعم الأردني ومساندته للسوريين في هذه الأزمة والدور الذي تقوم به أجهزة الدفاع المدني الأردنية وطواقمها البشرية بالمساعدة في إخماد هذه الحرائق بفعالية وكفاءة.

وفي سياق متصل، وجه الوزير الفراية الدعوة إلى نظيره السوري لزيارة المملكة خلال الشهر الحالي .
