أكد رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتانياهو الخميس استعداده للتفاوض حول وقف دائم لإطلاق النار في غزة خلال هدنة تستمر ستين يوما، شرط نزع السلاح من القطاع، متوعدا باستئناف الحرب في حال عدم التوصل الى اتفاق مماثل خلال هذه الفترة.

وقال نتانياهو في مقطع مصور من واشنطن "في مستهل وقف إطلاق النار (لستين يوما)، سنبدأ مفاوضات حول وقف نهائي لهذه الحرب"، مضيفا "على حماس ان تلقي السلاح، ينبغي نزع السلاح من غزة، وعلى حماس ألا تملك قدرات عسكرية و(قدرة على) الحكم بعد اليوم".

واضاف "إذا أمكن الحصول على ذلك عبر التفاوض، سيكون ذلك جيدا، وإلا فسنحصل عليه بوسائل أخرى، بقوة جيشنا البطل".

وتستمر في الدوحة المفاوضات غير المباشرة مع حركة حماس سعيا إلى وقف لإطلاق النار في غزة.
