أعلنت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني في قطاع غزة، عن توقف جميع مركباتها عن تقديم الخدمات الإنسانية في محافظتي "غزة والشمال"، باستثناء مركبة إطفاء واحدة، لعدم توفر قطع الغيار والصيانة اللازمة لإصلاحها.

وأوضحت المديرية في تصريح صحفي، أنه في المحافظات الجنوبية "الوسطى، وخانيونس، ورفح"، توقفت عن العمل 3 مركبات إطفاء من أصل 6، و 4 مركبات إسعاف من أصل 6 كانت تقدم خدماتها الإنسانية لآلاف الفلسطينيين.

وأشارت إلى أن هذا العجز بتوقف المركبات عن التدخلات الإنسانية، يأتي مع اشتداد وتيرة العدوان الإسرائيلي بحق شعب القطاع، الأمر الذي ينذر بكوارث كبيرة خاصة مع تضييق الاحتلال لما يسميها بـ"المنطقة الإنسانية".

وطالبت الأمم المتحدة بمؤسساتها المختلفة بسرعة التدخل للضغط على الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لإدخال قطع الغيار اللازمة لصيانة ما تبقى من مركبات إطفاء وإنقاذ وإسعاف
