زارت لجنة دراسة أسباب انهيار عمارة إربد المشكلة في نقابة المهندسين الأردنيين، موقع الانهيار الذي وقع في مدينة إربد وذلك للوقوف على أسباب الحادث وتقييم الأضرار الفنية والإنشائية التي لحقت بالموقع والمباني المجاورة.

وأجرت اللجنة كشفاً أولياً للموقع، واطّلعت على المخططات الهندسية وبيانات المشروع بالتعاون مع فرع النقابة في إربد وبلدية إربد الكبرى.

وأخذ عينات من قبل مختبرات الجمعية العلمية الملكية لاستخدام النتائج في دراسة أسباب الانهيار.

وستقوم اللجنة بإعداد تقرير فني مفصل يتضمن نتائج الكشف والتوصيات اللازمة لرفعه إلى الجهات المختصة، بما يُسهم في منع تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث مستقبلا.
