قرر مجلس مفوضي سلطة منطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة، اليوم الأربعاء، الموافقة على المخططات التنظيمية لإقامة مشروع "ريفيرا هايتس"، ضمن مشروع مرسى زايد وفق مجموعة من الاشتراطات والضوابط التنظيمية.

ويأتي هذا القرار ضمن رؤية السلطة في تسهيل وتشجيع الاستثمار في منطقة العقبة، إذ أن المشروع سيوفر فرص عمل للأردنيين وتشغيلهم، إضافة إلى الأثر في زيادة النمو الاقتصادي وتعزيز الاستثمار ودفع عجلة التنمية الاقتصادية، وتحفيز قطاعات متعددة في منطقة العقبة، ما يسهم تعزيز مكانة العقبة سياحيا واستثمارياً على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي.

كما قرر مجلس المفوضين الموافقة على حزمة من القرارات التنظيمية والإدارية في منطقة العقبة.
