أعلن رئيس أركان الجيش الاسرائيلي الأربعاء "توافر الظروف" للمضي في اتفاق يضمن الإفراج عن رهائن في قطاع غزة، في وقت تستمر المفاوضات غير المباشرة بين إسرائيل وحماس في الدوحة.

وقال إيال زامير في خطاب متلفز "لقد أنجزنا نتائج عدة مهمة. ألحقنا خسائر كبيرة بحكم حماس وقدراتها العسكرية"، مضيفا "بفضل القوة العملانية التي أثبتناها، باتت الظروف متوافرة للمضي في اتفاق بهدف الإفراج عن الرهائن".
