عبّر وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي الأربعاء عن تفاؤله بإمكانية التوصل إلى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار وصفقة لتبادل الرهائن في غزة، وقال إنه في حال التوصل إلى هدنة، فإن إسرائيل ستتفاوض بشأن وقف دائم لإطلاق النار.

وقال جدعون ساعر خلال مؤتمر صحفي في براتيسلافا مع نظيره السلوفاكي "إسرائيل جادة في رغبتها بالتوصل إلى صفقة تبادل رهائن ووقف لإطلاق النار. أعتقد أنه من الممكن تحقيق ذلك. إذا تم التوصل إلى هدنة مؤقتة، فسنتفاوض على وقف دائم لإطلاق النار".
